With  developers and hosting providers following, Varien are positioned correctly to shake the e-commerce market up. Now they have released Magento Go.

How hosting partners might be involved in this is somewhat less clear.

Varien are monopolising the Magento development and hosting workspace, but potentially dictating full control.
